This day is also important because girls have to eliminate gender based discrimination in the world which every girl around the world has to face at some point in her life.
We need to understand women power. If girls are given the right to security, education and equality since childhood, then they can change the world with their skills in the future.
Not only in our country but in all the countries girls are not getting their basic rights which they really deserve, like education, health, equality and living their life in their own way, their basic rights are still proving to be negligible and Girls have to compromise in their lives
Today on Girls' Day, we have to take a pledge that we will never deprive them of their rights, so that in future our daughters can become capable women and can do something for the society and the country. Because a family and society can never be complete without mother, daughter and sister, no one can understand better than a woman how to run a family.
A woman sacrifices her dreams and dedicates her entire life to taking care of her family and never thinks about herself. Therefore, we have to ensure that they get full rights and respect that they deserve.
We should be proud of our daughters. A daughter is never a burden. Daughter is a precious gift given by God for which we should be thankful to God. On the birth of a daughter, we should celebrate that we are lucky to have a daughter in our house. Because a daughter knows very well how to fulfill her double responsibility. As a daughter-in-law, she fulfills the responsibilities of her in-laws' house and as a daughter, she fulfills the responsibilities of her parents' house very well. The duty of serving her parents in their old age which a daughter can perform, a son can never perform.
It is our responsibility not only to celebrate this Girl Child Day, but on this day we have to ensure that the discriminatory attitude towards the girl child in the society is eliminated and the unforgivable crime like female feticide is rooted out. Only then can the significance of this day be fulfilled.
We have to be proud of our daughters and give them every right and respect that they deserve, only then they will bring glory to this society and country and the purpose of this International Girl Child Day will be truly fulfilled.
