Problems of Rural Areas in India

Most of the country's population still lives in villages. Even after 76 years of independence, there has been no promising improvement in the problem of rural India, which is a matter to think about.
On one hand, by organizing the G20 summit today, we are making the country proud in the whole world, which is also necessary for the country, but our indifference towards rural India is worrying.
The government also needs to take care of the rural and backward areas of the country. These areas are remembered only during elections, which is wrong because the real India still resides in the villages. The culture of the country is still alive in these villages.
But the rural areas are deprived of even the basic facilities like roads, electricity, education and medicine. How do these people earn their living? Ever think? In the absence of these luxuries, village children are unable to get higher education and the country remains deprived of their talent. Somewhere lives die due to lack of medical treatment, which is a matter of great shame for the country.
Today I read a news that "Patient dies on the way due to ambulance getting stuck in mud". Such news really scares. The day before yesterday there was a news that "Teachers could not reach the school, so the villagers made a path with tireless efforts of 1 month. "Doesn't any officer or government have any responsibility for this...?
These were just one or two news items... People in rural areas have to face such problems every day, so they are not published in any newspaper.
We believe that there has been a lot of development in every sector in the country, but the indifference towards rural areas remains the same. The government has run many schemes for these backward areas, but due to corruption, they are not able to develop properly. Yes... Government should take strict steps on this also
The development of rural and backward areas is the true development of the country, so some attention should be paid to this also because my real India still lives in the villages.
